Use abrangente or completo for a comprehensive report
O relatório apresenta uma análise abrangente do projeto.
The report provides a comprehensive analysis of the project.
Precisamos de uma lista completa dos documentos.
We need a comprehensive list of the documents.
Use compreensivo for a person who is understanding
Compreensivo usually describes someone who listens patiently or shows understanding. The noun compreensão means understanding. Do not choose compreensivo merely because the English word comprehensive looks similar.
Minha chefe foi compreensiva quando expliquei o atraso.

Ask whether you mean coverage or empathy
